What the X-Cross Orange Line does
The X-Cross recovers heat from the exhaust air and can send it back into the process. Drier, warmer air takes up more moisture; what that means for your drying time, we calculate for your product and process.
- All-in-one unit. Heating, cooling and dehumidification in one unit; no separate installations.
- Climate within the band. Active dehumidification with heat recovery. How often your climate leaves the band, we calculate for your space.
- Less CO₂. Electric instead of gas. How much you save depends on your electricity. In the report we calculate with your own contract.
- Decentralised. Each unit works on its own. If one fails, the others keep running.
What you get from us
A calculation using your own figures: your space, your use and your energy prices. The report shows the latent and the sensible load separately, with the standards and the assumptions, so that you and your adviser can check every step. Anything we do not know, we call an assumption.

Questions we are often asked
What is heat pump drying?
In heat pump drying, warm, dry air flows past the product and takes up moisture. The heat pump then cools that air: the moisture condenses and the heat goes back into the air. So you do not have to generate the heat again and again. What that means for your process, we calculate.
Will my drying time be shorter?
Drier, warmer air takes up more moisture. What that means for your drying time depends on the product and the process. We calculate it from your data.
Do I have to enter the production hall for maintenance?
Not if the unit stands on the roof or in a plant room. We fix the location and the service side for each project.
Which connections do I need to provide?
Air and electricity. And the heat side, if you want to use waste heat. You receive the dimensions with the calculation.
Can we do anything with our waste heat?
We will find out. The X-Cross recovers heat from the exhaust air and can send it back into the process. How much that yields, we calculate for your process.
How do I justify this choice in the specification?
With the report. It contains the heat and moisture balance, the standards and the assumptions.
